Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking an Associate Analyst to support the Third Party Diligence team. You will perform end-to-end diligence, including identity verification and screening of customers, partners, and suppliers, and conduct risk assessments to protect content and IP access.

Work with Risk & Compliance, Sales, Sourcing and Procurement, and Accounts Payable to identify issues, document findings, and contribute to program improvements.

Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years of experience in risk, compliance, or third-party diligence.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Familiarity with KYC/AML/sanctions screening is preferred.

Job description

Job description We are seeking a detail-oriented Associate Analyst to join our Third Party Diligence team. In this role, you will execute end-to-end third party diligence activities, including identity verification and customer, partner, and supplier screening. You will conduct engagement-level risk assessments to identify risks associated with selling products and provisioning access to Thomson Reuters content and intellectual property. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, you will identify, elevate, and document materially relevant issues while contributing to the continuous improvement of our enterprise-wide Third Party Risk Management program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute end-to-end third party diligence activities, including identity verification and customer, partner, and supplier screening, following defined processes and utilizing dedicated tooling
  • Conduct engagement-level risk assessments to identify risks associated with selling products and provisioning access to Thomson Reuters content and intellectual property
  • Identify, elevate, and document materially relevant issues discovered in the course of day-to-day diligence activities
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams — including Risk & Compliance, Sales, Sourcing and Procurement, and Accounts Payable — to ensure smooth process delivery and timely issue resolution
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the enterprise-wide Third Party Risk Management program and its associated projects
Required Qualifications
  • A foundational understanding of risk and compliance principles, including due diligence objectives, sales processes, sourcing, contract management, and payment workflows
  • Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Proven ability to follow established guidelines and processes while proactively identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey information clearly and efficiently
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships in a global, complex, and matrixed environment
  • A naturally curious, growth-oriented approach — comfortable navigating ambiguity and consistently striving for excellence
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 - 3+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Working knowledge of KYC, AML, anti-fraud, and sanctions screening processes and regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power Automate, Power BI, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with API interoperability, data structure design, and technology automation

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $47,600 USD - $88,400 USD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
