Job Description

Job Summary

Responsible for accurate and timely maintenance of critical provider information on all claims and provider databases. Maintains provider information, synchronizes data among multiple claims systems, and applies business rules as they pertain to each database. Validates data to ensure adherence to business and system requirements related to contracting, network management, and credentialing.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Receives information from outside parties for updates and analyzes data to ensure accuracy.
• Maintains standards for loading provider demographic data, including affiliation and contract assignment.
• Loads and maintains provider information with attention to detail and accuracy, meeting department standards for turnaround time and quality.
• Audits loaded provider records for quality and financial accuracy, providing documented feedback.
• Ensures provider information is loaded correctly for claims processing, reporting, and directory services.

Job Qualifications

Required Education: HS Diploma or GED

Required Experience: 0-3 years

Preferred Education: Associate degree or equivalent

Preferred Experience: 1-3 years
