Northrop Grumman’s C2 & Weapons Integration AI Center of Excellence in Beavercreek, OH is seeking an AI Software Engineer. The role focuses on R&D in LLMs, NLP, NLU, NLG, and AI‑driven decision making, with emphasis on responsible and explainable AI.

Qualifications

Degree in CS or related STEM field with relevant experience.
Experience implementing AI models and algorithms (e.g., LLMs, CNNs).
Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, or Scikit‑learn.
Experience across the ML pipeline: data processing, training, evaluation.
Ability to rapid prototype and PoC implementations.
Familiarity with ML concepts including transformers, CNNs, RNNs, ML theory.

Responsibilities

Define, develop, and deliver AI/ML models and algorithms for prediction, optimization, and classification.
Apply ML to large structured and unstructured data for autonomy, recognition, tracking, and decision support."
Design, develop, document, test, debug, and deploy AI/ML applications.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deploy AI/ML solutions in development and production environments.
