Job summary

Park Place Technologies is seeking an Associate Artificial Intelligence Engineer in the Cleveland area. You will develop and implement AI solutions and ML models to drive data‑driven decisions across teams, collaborating with data scientists, engineers, and business analysts in a hybrid work environment.

The role covers SDLC activities, building scalable pipelines with Python, Spark, Azure ML, and OpenAI, ensuring CI/CD with Azure DevOps and Git.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS/AI/DS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year hands-on experience developing and deploying AI/ML solutions.
• Development experience with Python (Spark, pandas) and SQL.
• Solid understanding of AI methodologies: supervised/unsupervised learning, regression, neural networks.
• Practical knowledge of Azure cloud services (Azure Synapse, Azure ML, Data Factory, Functions).
• Experience with Visual Studio, Git, and Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with SOLID, OOD, DRY, and DDD concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements, design, develop, and deploy scalable AI applications aligned with objectives.
• Develop high-performing, reusable, and reliable code following industry standards.
• Participate in SDLC phases: requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, documentation, support.
• Build pipelines using Python, Spark, Azure ML, and OpenAI.
• Collaborate with data analysts/engineers/BD to translate requirements into solutions.
• Use Azure DevOps and Git to ensure CI/CD best practices.
• Troubleshoot AI performance and production issues; stay updated on AI advancements.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and proactive work attitude.
• Create documentation related to work.
