Job summary

TRG is seeking an early-career problem solver to help build and operate production systems using AI agents. You will translate business needs into clear instructions, guide agents, and validate outputs against requirements in a collaborative environment.

You’ll work with an engineering lead, gain hands-on experience with agentic tooling, and progressively take ownership of more complex agent-driven workflows. No prior AI orchestration experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Turn business requests into clear requirements, manageable tasks, and measurable acceptance criteria.
• Direct AI agents to build, configure, integrate, test, and troubleshoot software systems.
• Provide documentation, context, tools, and constraints to agents.
• Coordinate work across agents, track dependencies, and resolve conflicts.
• Identify when an agent is stuck or solving the wrong problem and redirect it.
• Validate outcomes through testing, logs, automated checks, and comparisons to requirements.
• Investigate failures and distinguish issues with instructions, data, tools, or the underlying system.
• Prepare changes for review and release following security and rollback procedures.
• Maintain reusable instructions and documentation for repeatable workflows.

About the Role

We’re looking for an early-career problem solver to help build and operate production systems using AI agents.

In this role, your primary responsibility will be directing AI tools toward useful, reliable results. You’ll translate business needs into clear instructions, give agents the context and access they need, coordinate their work, and evaluate whether the outcome meets the requirements.

Your day will center on shaping tasks, guiding execution, investigating failures, and validating results. You’ll develop enough technical understanding to challenge the AI’s work, recognize risks, and know when to bring in an experienced engineer.

You’ll work closely with an engineering lead and gradually take ownership of more complex agent-driven workflows. Prior professional experience with AI orchestration is not required.

What You’ll Do

• Turn business requests into clear requirements, manageable tasks, and measurable acceptance criteria.
• Direct AI agents to build, configure, integrate, test, and troubleshoot software systems.
• Provide the relevant documentation, system context, tools, and constraints agents need to work effectively.
• Coordinate work across agents, track dependencies, and resolve conflicting or incomplete results.
• Recognize when an agent is stuck, making unsupported assumptions, or solving the wrong problem, and redirect it.
• Validate outcomes through application testing, logs, automated checks, and comparison against business requirements.
• Investigate failures and distinguish between problems with instructions, data, tools, and the underlying system.
• Prepare changes for review and release, following established security, approval, and rollback procedures.
• Maintain reusable instructions and documentation that make successful workflows repeatable.

What You Bring

Helpful Experience

• Using agentic development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Codex.
• Building automations, integrating services, or using APIs.
• Working with Git, software testing, cloud platforms, or deployment workflows.
• Reading or making small changes to scripts or application code. Deep programming expertise is not required at entry.

What You’ll Learn

You’ll receive hands‑on mentorship in AI orchestration, system design fundamentals, production validation, and operational troubleshooting.

You’ll learn how to scope agent tasks, manage context, evaluate outputs, control permissions, and build workflows with appropriate human review. Production access and release responsibility will expand as you demonstrate readiness.

Success means delivering working outcomes with evidence that they meet the requirements. You can explain what was requested, how you directed the work, how you checked the result, and what remains uncertain.

As you grow, you’ll independently coordinate bounded projects while escalating decisions that need additional engineering or business judgment.
