Job summary

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Aeronautical Engineering or recent graduate (within 12 months).
  • Experience with structural analysis is a plus but not required to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Use classical hand analysis and/or finite element models to predict internal loads, displacements, and stresses for complex structures.
  • Collaborate with Design Engineers to substantiate aircraft modifications and ensure airworthiness.
  • Generate free body diagrams and calculate internal loads and stresses.
  • Document structural analysis in reports to show compliance with airworthiness requirements.
  • Develop structural tests and post-process results to establish allowable strength data.
  • Manage personal work to stay within scope, budget, and schedule.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Aeronautical Engineering
