Job summary

National Life Group seeks an Associate Actuary to advance actuarial capabilities within the Actuarial Innovation team. You will support valuation, modeling, and cross‑functional stakeholders using analytics, data platforms, and AI‑enabled tools.

The role emphasizes collaboration across Finance, Risk, IT, and Product Development, with an onsite schedule of four core days (Mon–Thu) in Addison, TX. A strong actuarial background and modeling skills are essential.

Qualifications

• FSA designation required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or related quantitative field.
• Minimum 6 years of actuarial valuation and/or modeling experience.
• Strong knowledge of life insurance and/or annuity products.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply advanced actuarial analytics to support strategic initiatives.
• Analyze actuarial, financial, and operational results to identify drivers of performance.
• Translate complex results into executive-ready insights and recommendations.
• Develop dashboards and visual analytics for transparency into results and metrics.
• Collaborate with Valuation, MCoE, Finance, Risk, Product Development, and IT to design analytical approaches.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI, automation, and modern technology solutions.
