Job summary

Continental Resources, Inc. is seeking a professional accounting position that handles owner revenue distribution inquiries and ensures timely, accurate responses.

You will support revenue-related processes, including 1099s, OSO payments, interest calculations, and reconciliations, working closely with the owner relations function. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision in a fast-paced energy company

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university.
• Experience with MS Excel.
• An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Respond to owner inquiries and manage revenue distribution questions.
• Process manual journal entries to owners payable accounts.
• Assist with owner 1099 questions; print and verify 1099s.
• Assist in processing Outside Operated (OSO) Oil and Gas Purchaser payments.
• Maintain voided check ledger and handle stale-dated checks.
• Assist with owner payments and legal requests.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Professional accounting position that receives owner inquiries. Reviews and responds to owner courteously, timely, and accurately. Responsible for accounting processes regarding owner revenue distribution issues. This position is responsible for assisting with revenue owner relations, 1099's, outside operated check input, interest calculations, legal requests, and reconciliation activities at Continental Resources.

Duties and Responsibilities

Manages Revenue Distribution email account regarding owner inquiries with revenue related questions, and responds courteously, timely, and accurately. Responds to owner phone calls and to inquiries sent via mail. Manages revenue voucher, returned emails and returned revenue checks. Maintains voided check ledger and voids stale dated checks and other checks as needed. Assists with owner 1099 questions Prints and verifies 1099's upon request. Prepares owner interest calculations and late royalty payments. Assists with legal requests regarding owner payments. Processes manual journal entries to owners payable accounts. Assists in processing Outside Operated (OSO) Oil and Gas Purchaser payments accurately and by specified closing deadlines. Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
