Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking an Associate Accountant/Analyst to manage monthly close processes, invoicing, journals, flux analysis, and reconciliations. The role supports multiple departments and participates in audits and special projects within a fast-paced energy company.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance with 0–5 years of accounting experience, SAP and Excel proficiency, and a strong ethical, detail-oriented mindset capable of overtime during peak periods.

Qualifications

• 0 to 5 years of work experience in accounting.
• SAP knowledge a plus.
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel.
• Sound understanding of accounting practices and principles.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organization skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

Summary

This position will be responsible for, but not limited to, monthly close process, invoicing, journal entries, flux analysis, and account reconciliations. The position will need to be filled with a flexible and personable individual who will be able to complete requests from various departments in the company.

• The Associate Accountant/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 0-2 years of relevant job related experience
• The Accountant/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
• The Senior Accountant/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
• The Lead Accountant/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job related experience
