Overview
The Associate Account Manager Existing Accounts is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with established customers with the objective of meeting or exceeding assigned sales revenue quota.
What you will be doing
- Meet established quota for assigned low risk, low impact existing customers
- Maintain current knowledge of assigned customers business and organizational structure
- Proactively initiate contact with customers on a regular basis to maintain business relationships and ensure satisfaction
- Respond to non-technical customer inquiries, such as module information, pricing, maintenance and billing questions
- Support team members on accounts that are designated as strategic by Sales Management
- Record all customer account information in the CRM, including opportunities, commitments, meaningful conversations, customer visits or sales calls
- Develop and communicate accurate sales forecasting on a real-time basis
- Ensure customers are reference-able and participating in company marketing efforts, to the best of their ability
- Attend company sales meetings, training sessions and trade shows
- Regularly contribute ideas to improve account management
- Grow knowledge and awareness of best practices and market trends
- Grow knowledge of company's software solution and company's best practice sales and account management methodologies
What will make you successful
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in sales
- Microsoft Windows and Office proficient
- Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others
- Good oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
- Experienced at successfully multi-tasking
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage work to completion with minimal oversight
- Good collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
- Up to 20% travel time required
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
