An Associate Account Executive is an entry-level position responsible for generating profitable sales and building customer relationships. Key responsibilities include prospecting, researching, verifying customer information, preparing proposals, follow-up, and assisting with customer service. The role involves working closely with sales teams to understand customer needs and develop trust, with a focus on closing business and articulating the value of NRG products.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
  1. Implement sales strategies to meet company goals.
  2. Identify and prospect customers within a designated territory.
  3. Leverage cross-sell opportunities with existing customers.
  4. Maintain clear communication across teams and support departments.
  5. Follow structured processes for sales initiatives.
  6. Use CRM tools like SFDC and LinkedIn Navigator to track activities.
  7. Develop and execute new ideas and strategies.
  8. Utilize data to identify growth opportunities.
  9. Collaborate with various internal teams including Marketing and Product Development.
  10. Communicate business challenges and expectations with managers.
  11. Create and monitor customer business plans.
Working Conditions
  • Virtual environment.
  • Up to 50% travel to maintain customer relationships.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, management, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a sales support role.
