Associate 3D Design Director, Experience Design

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Associate 3D Design Director, Experience Design to join our team. You will be responsible for leading innovative 3D design projects, from concept to execution, creating immersive brand experiences across digital, environmental, and physical platforms.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex design queries with innovative and practical solutions
• Lead concepts from the creative team into detailed design development through to final execution
• Develop a thorough understanding of client brands and industry competitors
• Demonstrate expertise in 3D Experience Design pillars such as Drafting, Materials, Rendering Visualization, and Spatial Design
• Manage multiple projects within tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Stay updated on industry trends and share insights with the team
• Present work internally and to clients
• Collaborate with the Experience Design team
• Research materials and create material boards for clients
• Support Momentum's core values and initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Experiential Design, Theatrical Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Exhibit Design, Broadcast Design, or related field (preferred)
• 7-10 years of relevant experience
• Strong portfolio showcasing experience from development to fabrication
• Deep understanding of spatial and environmental design
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Vectorworks, and Cinema 4D
• Knowledge of materials and fabrication techniques
• Ability to present designs to fabricators and clients
• Experience managing design teams and meeting deadlines
• Conceptual sketching skills

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $125,000 to $140,000, depending on experience, location, and other factors.
