Job description

Working across projects of every scale, from in-store displays and retail environments to large-scale events, activations, and festival footprints, they partner closely with Art Directors and Creative Leadership to actualize ideas in three dimensions. Backed by 5–7 years of experience, they understand that great 3D design must do more than create a beautiful rendering—it must consider the consumer experience, physical environment, brand, and realities of production.

Responsibilities

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

A highly skilled 3D designer with a strong understanding of spatial design, environmental storytelling, scale, materials, and how consumers move through and interact with physical experiences. You’ll translate creative direction into compelling dimensional solutions while helping the broader team visualize what an idea can become. You’ll collaborate throughout the process—from early concept visualization through development and production—partnering with Creative, Design, and Production teams to ensure what we imagine can ultimately be built.

Duties

Balance the direct creation of breakthrough creative work that supports big ideas, creative pitches, production plans, and experience design, work executed with excellence while working among a team of multi-disciplinary creatives and leading brand clients.

Specifics Include
  • Develop 3D designs and renderings across a range of experiential work—from displays and fixtures to pop-ups, retail environments, events, and large-scale footprints
  • Translate concepts, sketches, references, and creative direction into compelling dimensional designs
  • Collaborate with Art Directors, ACDs, Creative Directors, and other creative partners to actualize ideas and push concepts forward
  • Partner with Designers and Production teams to translate 3D environments into actionable, producible solutions and artwork
  • Apply a strong understanding of scale, proportion, materials, finishes, lighting, architecture, and environmental design
  • Develop designs with real-world production requirements and fabrication considerations in mind
  • Participate actively in creative development, bringing ideas and dimensional solutions to the table rather
  • Create high-quality renderings and visualizations that clearly communicate concepts internally, to clients, and to partners
  • Incorporate feedback efficiently while protecting the integrity and quality of the creative idea
  • Stay inspired by trends in experiential, retail, architecture, interiors, culture, technology, and design—and bring that inspiration into the work
