Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate required; associate degree preferred.
• Typically a minimum of 2 years related work experience.
• Civil3D experience preferred; AutoCAD experience required.
• PVcase/PVFarm experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering teams under general supervision in utility-scale renewable energy projects
• Perform technical civil engineering design tasks, including preparing and modifying site plans, grading designs, and utility layouts
• Use advanced design tools such as Autodesk Civil 3D, PVcase, and PVFarm to develop project deliverables
• Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and project reports
• Assist in material quantity estimates and dimensional checks to support project accuracy
• Coordinate with other project groups to minimize errors and interferences in deliverables
• Support continuous improvement by identifying and applying new technologies and processes
• Mentor junior engineering technicians and support internal client needs with an understanding of external priorities
