Job summary

The Options Clearing Corporation seeks an Associate Principal to drive architecture and development of next-gen, cloud-based risk management solutions. You will mentor engineers, shape technical strategy, and lead design reviews in a data-driven, agile environment.

You'll work across business and tech stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure capabilities, leveraging Java 8+, distributed messaging, and modern DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with Java 8+ and OO design.
• Strong multi-threading and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of distributed messaging and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design of scalable cloud-based solutions.
• Mentor developers and collaborate across teams.
• Perform requirements analysis and ensure quality through tests.
• Contribute to SDLC adherence, security, and performance.
• Assist with production support and risk analysis.
