Job summary

GPLA Structural Engineers and Builders, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is seeking an Associate Mechanical Designer to support mechanical design activities across project phases under supervision. You will assist with drawings, specifications, and calculations, and collaborate with engineers, designers, and modelers to develop HVAC, piping, and equipment layouts using CAD tools.

This entry-level role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or architectural engineering (or related field)

Qualifications

Performs basic drafting, layout, and documentation tasks with guidance from engineers and senior designers. Supports construction administration activities, including shop drawing review and responses to RFIs, under supervision. Utilizes CAD software to create 2D drawings and assist with development of 3D mechanical models. Collaborates with engineers, designers, and modelers to support coordinated and timely project delivery.
