Medline Industries, LP in Mundelein, IL, is seeking an RF handheld specialist to design, develop, and maintain RF handheld applications and related hardware for our branch site needs. You will ensure high availability and performance of RF systems and provide on-site support.

The role involves Android development on Zebra devices (TC51/TC56/TC57), MDM administration, troubleshooting, and collaboration across departments. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT-related field.
• At least 1 year RF troubleshooting and configuration experience.
• Experience configuring and maintaining an MDM platform.
• Proficiency with Zebra rugged handheld devices (TC51/TC56/TC57).
• Understanding Bluetooth technologies.
• Understanding rugged handheld terminal emulation software.
• Understanding voice picking and voice-directed applications.
• Understanding warehouse management systems and workflows.
• Up to 10% overnight travel may be required.

Job Summary

Primarily responsible for the design, development, configuration, and maintenance of RF handheld application packages, scripts, and hardware for Medline's branch site needs. Help ensure maximum availability, reliability, and performance of related systems.

Job Description

Major Responsibilities

• Responsible for executing RF handheld projects from concept to realization involving individuals from multiple departments and disciplines.
• Work independently on basic and moderate level RF projects including basic design and troubleshooting.
• Design, develop, and support compelling, high quality Android applications on Zebra RF handheld devices.
• Provide RF handheld device and OS support to help resolve end-user device issues.
• Administer RF handheld devices in Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform.
• Support end users by resolving trouble tickets logged in the call tracking system by Help Desk personnel.
• Assist in technical design, implementation, testing, and delivery of branch related RF handheld items.
• Provide technical phone and on-site RF handheld support to an end-user community.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree IT related field.
• Certification / Licensure: None required.
• Work Experience: At least 1 year of RF troubleshooting and configuration experience.
• Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: A general understanding of configuring and maintaining an MDM platform.
• Demonstrate an adequate level of proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Zebra rugged handheld devices which include, but are not limited to the Android TC51, TC56, and TC57.
• A general understanding of Bluetooth technologies.
• A general understanding of rugged handheld terminal emulation software.
• A general understanding of voice picking and voice directed applications.
• A general understanding of warehouse management systems and workflows.
• Up to 10% overnight travel may be required.

Salary

The anticipated salary range for this position: $73,000.00 - $110,000.00 Annual The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
