Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a entry-level Electrical/Architectural Engineer to assist in creating electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations across all design phases under close supervision.

You will collaborate with engineers and detailers to produce accurate 2D and 3D electrical models using CAD tools and learn industry standards. Construction administration support will be provided as directed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or architectural engineering or related field.
• No experience required.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification in progress or intent to pursue preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the production of electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations with tasks that are specific and clearly defined.
• Supports development of basic electrical layouts and system documentation using foundational knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
• Performs basic electrical calculations and drafting tasks with guidance from engineers and senior designers.
• Supports construction administration activities, including shop drawing review and response to RFIs, under supervision.
• Utilizes CAD software and related tools to create 2D drawings and assist with 3D electrical modeling.
• Collaborates with engineers, modelers, and detailers to support timely and coordinated project delivery.
• Incorporates feedback and guidance to build technical skills and improve design quality.
