Job summary

W3Global is seeking an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) to perform in-person mobility evaluations and provide assistive technology recommendations across the Bay Area and Southern California. The role requires RESNA ATP Certification or near completion and involves field-based travel with physicians, therapists, and care teams.

Ideal candidates will have experience conducting mobility assessments, evaluating environments, and delivering training on device use.

Qualifications

• RESNA ATP Certification required, or very close to taking the ATP certification exam.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Experience with mobility evaluations and assistive technology preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and clinical reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' functional abilities and environments to determine appropriate assistive technology needs.
• Perform client interviews and observe gait and movement patterns in real-world settings.
• Evaluate home and community accessibility and assess appropriate equipment.
• Analyze medical data to develop personalized recommendations.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Provide training and education to patients, families, caregivers, and staff on proper device use and maintenance.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately within medical records and case management systems.
• Conduct in-person mobility evaluations throughout the assigned service area.
