Job summary

Reliable Medical is hiring an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) to evaluate, recommend, and customize assistive technologies for clients with disabilities or medical conditions. You will collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and physicians to design holistic care plans and improve daily functioning.

The role requires RESNA ATP certification, strong technical knowledge of mobility devices, communication aids, and software, plus

Qualifications

• Certification as an ATP by RESNA is required.
• Proven experience assessing, recommending, and customizing assistive technology solutions.
• Strong technical aptitude with familiarity across assistive devices and software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to interact with clients and teams.
• Problem-solving mindset with ability to adapt solutions.
• Empathy, patience, and client-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients and determine assistive technology needs.
• Recommend and customize devices to fit goals and capabilities.
• Configure, calibrate, and troubleshoot assistive tech; provide training.
• Maintain detailed assessments, recommendations, and documentation.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and physicians to create care plans.
• Pursue ongoing education and professional development in assistive technology.
