Job summary

Numotion in Albuquerque, NM is seeking an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) to evaluate, recommend and deliver CRT solutions tailored to clients’ needs. You will collaborate with therapists, physicians and families to maximize independence and quality of life.

The role combines clinical assessment, equipment fitting and training, plus ongoing documentation and attainment of sales goals within a patient-centered environment. Valid ATP certification and driving is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, interpersonal and problem-solving skills required to generate appropriate, individualized recommendations for CRT equipment and interventions.
• Working knowledge of compliant billing processes for rehab/assistive technology equipment as necessary (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, etc.)
• Must have valid Drivers License.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs, functional limitations, and mobility goals based on therapist assessment findings and physician orders.
• Actively collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized plans of care to achieve client mobility goals.
• Recommend appropriate CRT equipment and associated interventions based on client’s identified physical needs and mobility goals.
• Manage/Facilitate efficient procurement processes from equipment specification through delivery.
• Attain and apply clinical, technical and interpersonal skills in a needs analysis of complex mobility issues.
• Deliver and fit equipment, providing training and education to clients, families and caregivers on safe and effective use.
• Complete/maintain accurate documentation pertaining to client interactions in a timely manner.
• Attain/exceed annual sales goals and report on sales calls and opportunities.
• Maintain certifications/licenses and ensure coverage while staying compliant with regulations.
