Job summary

The Waterford at Shavano Park, a Sonida Senior Living community in San Antonio, TX, seeks a Wellness Director to lead resident care operations with a focus on quality, compliance, and staff supervision. You will coordinate health services, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and ensure adherence to state and federal regulations while supporting a compassionate, resident-centered environment.

• Licensed or Registered Nurse with a minimum of three to five years in-home health or geriatric nursing in a similar position.
• A minimum of two to four years of supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assures implementation of policies and procedures relating to Resident care and oversight of all health-related services.
• Manages, coordinates and directs all activities in accordance with state and applicable federal regulations, as well as Community policies and procedures.
• Establishes working relationship with health care professionals in the community to include interactions with the Residents’ health care providers.
• Manages, coordinates, and directs all activities in accordance with state and applicable federal regulations, as well as Community policies and procedures.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
