Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife in West Liberty, OH is seeking compassionate Assistant Living Resident Assistants to support residents with activities of daily living in a warm, family-like campus setting.

You and your team will plan schedules and provide the best life experiences, working closely with nurses and coworkers to ensure safe, respectful care. Part-time 2p-10p and full-time 10p-6a shifts are available, with DailyPay options for earned wages.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Certification: First Aid Course.

Responsibilities

• Provide encouragement and high-quality care in a cheerful, timely manner.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) including oral care, toileting, bathing, incontinence and dressing.
• Provide supervision or non-weight-bearing assistance for transfers and ambulation as needed.
• Move carts and equipment safely through work and resident areas.
• Communicate and coordinate with residents' needs and team structure.
• Work with the nurse in charge to deliver care.
• Respond quickly to emergency calls from Independent Living residents as directed.

Responsibilities

• Provide encouragement and high-quality care in a cheerful, timely manner
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living, including oral care, toileting, bathing, incontinence and dressing in a caring and supportive manner as needed per resident
• Provide supervision, cueing or other non-weight-bearing assistance related to transfer ambulation as needed per resident
• Roll carts, laundry hampers and other equipment safely through work and resident areas
• Communicate, coordinate and cooperate with resident needs and team structure
• Work as a team under the supervision and direction of the nurse in charge
• Quickly respond to emergency calls from Independent Living residents as directed by the nurse in charge

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma/GED preferred
• Certification: First Aid Course
• Experience: Previous experience preferred
