Job summary

The Good Shepherd Community is seeking a Program Director to lead the Becker Assisted Living program with a focus on compassionate, professional resident care and compliant operations.

You will hire, coach, and supervise staff, ensure service plans are followed, and coordinate with nursing and social services to meet resident needs. This role emphasizes strong leadership, budgeting, and regulatory knowledge within a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience working with older adults.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating teams.
• Strong organizational, planning and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes/assessments of residents to determine needs and services.
• Coordinate with Social Service Intake Coordinator and AL RN to develop action plans.
• Set professional standard of positive leadership in daily coaching and training.
• Participate in hiring and orientation for new staff and coordinate training.
• Ensure adequate 24-hour staffing to meet resident needs.
• Oversee Life Enrichment services and adherence to schedules.
• Assist with move-in/move-out paperwork and unit transfers.
• Support budget development and achievement of financial goals.
• Maintain licensure compliance per MDH, DHS, and housing regulations.

You will be responsible for the successful operation of our Becker Assisted Living program.
