You will develop personalized care plans, supervise staff, manage budgeting and resources, coordinate with families and healthcare professionals, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing long-term care

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise staff members to ensure high standards of assisted living, memory care, and dementia care are consistently met.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update personalized care plans tailored to each resident’s unique needs, including Alzheimer’s and other cognitive impairments.
• Oversee medication administration processes to guarantee safety and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Manage daily operations including staffing schedules, budgeting, and resource allocation to optimize service delivery.
• Foster positive relationships with residents’ families, providing updates on care progress and addressing concerns proactively.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to long-term care facilities and assisted living communities.
• Promote a safe, engaging environment by organizing activities that enhance residents’ quality of life and social well-being.

Requirements

• Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home management with a strong background in senior care services.
• Extensive knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in a group home or retirement home setting.
• Familiarity with creating and managing care plans, medication administration protocols, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and operational management within home & community care environments.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with staff, residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Relevant certifications in nursing, social work or healthcare management are preferred; long-term care experience is highly valued.
