Job summary

Runk & Pratt Health Care Ent Inc is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems in our assisted living community. The role includes participation in an on-call rotation to address after-hours maintenance needs and ensure a climate-controlled, safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions, performing preventative maintenance, maintaining logs and inventory, and ensuring OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• HVAC certification required; EPA certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years HVAC experience, preferably in healthcare, senior living, or commercial facilities.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, heat pumps, ventilation systems, thermostats, and related controls.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose system malfunctions and perform timely, cost-effective repairs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls.
• Maintain indoor air quality standards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Monitor and adjust building management systems as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and inventory of parts and supplies.
• Assist with general facility maintenance tasks when needed (plumbing, minor electrical, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and local regulations.
