Job summary

Americare is seeking a Registered Nurse Floater to provide care across multiple assisted living facilities in New York. The role covers a 38.75-hour week with shifts that vary by facility, typically between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM.

You will relocate care across five boroughs as needed, offering a dynamic environment with residents who are generally stable. The position emphasizes a structured setting relative to hospital care and supports ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• NYS RN license required.
• Must have own vehicle.
• Willingness to work at multiple facilities.
• Excellent clinical skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across multiple assisted living facilities.
• Support diverse resident populations with varying care needs.
• Adapt care delivery to shifting schedules across facilities (7:00 AM–8:00 PM).

The Position: Registered Nurse Assisted Living Facility Floater

Schedule: Monday–Friday at multiple ACF locations. 38.75-hour work week. Shift times vary by facility between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM.

The Registered Nurse Floater provides care across multiple assisted living facilities throughout all five boroughs as needed. This role offers a dynamic work environment with the opportunity to support diverse resident populations.

Working in assisted living provides a different pace than a hospital setting, with residents who are generally stable and require less acute care, creating a more structured and less high-pressure environment.
