Job summary

Americare is seeking a Registered Nurse Floater to provide compassionate nursing care across multiple assisted living facilities in New York. The role requires flexibility to work at several locations with shifts ranging from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM in a 38.75-hour week.

The RN will support diverse resident populations in a structured, less acute care setting, joining a company with over 40 years of experience and a strong commitment to quality care.

Qualifications

• NYS RN License.
• Must have own vehicle.
• Willingness to work at multiple facilities.
• Excellent clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across multiple assisted living facilities as needed.
• Support diverse resident populations in a dynamic environment.
• Coordinate care with facility schedules and shifts between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM.

Job Description: Career Site Job Description (To Be Completed By Recruiter) The Position: Registered Nurse Assisted Living Facility Floater Schedule: Monday–Friday at multiple ACF locations. 38.75-hour work week. Shift times vary by facility between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM. The Registered Nurse Floater provides care across multiple assisted living facilities throughout all five boroughs as needed. This role offers a dynamic work environment with the opportunity to support diverse resident populations. Working in assisted living provides a different pace than a hospital setting, with residents who are generally stable and require less acute care, creating a more structured and less high-pressure environment.
