The Director of Nursing - AL is responsible for leading, directing, analyzing, staffing, and evaluating the nursing services of the department, as well as supervising team members. You may also assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Administrator/Housing Director.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clinical leadership for nursing staff to promote high-quality care.
• Develop, revise, monitor, and implement the department budget to ensure appropriate resources.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate the nursing department while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Serve as a nursing liaison with internal/external groups, residents/families, the general public, and other healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Ability to make independent decisions and prioritize duties effectively.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
