Job description

Overview

Premier Residential and Assisted Living is a 38 bed Assisted Living and Residential Care community seeking a full-time cook 6:00am-2:00pm with possible 2nd shift hours. Every other weekend and holiday is required. The cook will also work as a Dietary Aide.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality, eye-pleasing meals following menus assigned by the facility manager.
• Wash dishes, clean the kitchen, and perform other duties provided by the manager.
• Assist patients in eating and keep dining areas and kitchens clean and sanitary.
• Operate kitchen equipment as needed, maintain knowledge of agency rules and medical protocols.
• Follow Dietitian meal plans for individual patients and ensure proper health.
• Work required weekends, holidays, and every other weekend.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of cooking experience in large quantities.
• Day shift preferred (6:00am-2:00pm). Second shift possible.
• Must be able to work every other weekend and holiday.
• Full-time commitment 40 hrs per week.
