The Jasper of Mansfield in Mansfield, TX is seeking a Culinary Services Cook to plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals in a structured, sanitary dining environment. You will support the Culinary Services Director and help maintain efficient dining operations for residents in an Assisted Living and Memory Care community.

The role requires high school diploma (or equivalent) and a Food Service Sanitation Certificate; experience in large-volume meal prep and teamwork is valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Food Service Sanitation Certificate required per local/state rules.
• Experience with large-volume meal preparation; supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals in a timely, sanitary manner.
• Assist in maintaining an organized Dining Services department.
• Prepare meals for assigned shifts and ensure quality service.
• Maintain standards of dining service and cleanliness in dining room and kitchen.

Culinary Services CookResponsibilities include:

• Plans, prepares, and serves attractive, nutritious meals in an organized, timely, and sanitary manner.
• Assists the Culinary Services Director in maintaining a well-organized and efficient Dining Services department.
• Prepares and serves meals for assigned shifts.
• Maintains standards for dining services to the Residents to include efficient meal service delivery, customer service and cleanliness of the dining room and kitchen.
• Clean after preparation and service; work area, pots and equipment.
• Ensures all leftovers are covered, labeled, dated and stored in the proper place.

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must possess Food Service Sanitation Certificate as per State/Local requirements.
• High Experience and/or knowledge of volume meal preparation and serving for large groups.
• Some supervisory experience preferred. Ability to read and understand recipes, work in a team environment, work flexible shifts, handle multiple tasks at one time and communicate effectively verbally and/or in writing
