Job summary

HallKeen Assisted Living Communities is seeking a Cook in Revere, MA to prepare and cook meals per established standards and menus. You will collaborate with the Food Service Director to deliver a restaurant-style dining experience for residents and ensure food quality and presentation.

The role requires maintaining clean, sanitary kitchen areas, following recipes, labeling and storing foods properly, and participating in special events and banquets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1–3 years experience as a cook in hospitality or healthcare.
• Serve Safe Certification is required.
• Able to read and follow recipes and production guides.
• Criminal background check and medical certification TB are required by regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food; ensure meals meet standards.
• Provide a high level of customer service and dining atmosphere.
• Work with the food service director to keep residents satisfied with food and dining.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food storage; follow safety practices.
• Open and/or close the kitchen; adhere to cleaning schedules.
• Prepare and serve meals from established recipes and menus; document temperatures.
