Huntington Retirement in Gardena, CA is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support residents in a professional, respectful manner. The role involves assisting with ambulation, personal care, and daily activities, while maintaining safety and dignity.

Shifts include AM, PM, and NOC; candidates must pass Live Scan, be vaccinated, have a HS diploma, and be legally authorized to work in the United States. Training and a collaborative team environment are provided.

Responsabilidades

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the facility.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist feeding and bathing residents.
• Perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
• Provide increased support for residents with dementia or memory care needs.
• Maintain a pleasant, supportive presence and report incidents.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

Pay Grade

We are looking for competent Caregivers to join our team! The ideal candidate would be responsible for caring for our patients in a professional and compassionate manner.

Caregiver Requirements

• Vaccinated against Covid-19 including Booster and present proof
• Flexible schedule & Full-Time availability
• Must clear Live Scan background check
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Authorized to work in the United States

Primary Caregiver Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the facility (to activities, to dining room, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Assist feeding and bathing residents
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own
• Provide increased assistance to residents with dementia or in memory care unit
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Other Caregiver Skills

• Experience as a caregiver preferred but not required
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid and CPR
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and dietary constraints
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

PAY SCALE:

Depending on a number of factors, including, but not limited to location, regularly scheduled work shift, knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise.
