Job summary

Huntingtonretirement is seeking a dedicated Assisted Living Caregiver to join our Nursing team in a Non-Exempt, 18–19 USD/hour role. Shifts include AM/PM/NOC, with FT/PT options.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with mobility, personal care, meals, and hygiene, plus light housekeeping and dementia care support. Required: Covid-19 vaccination with booster and proof, Live Scan background check, valid work authorization in the United States, high school diploma or equivalent, and

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the facility (to activities, to dining room, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Assist feeding and bathing residents
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Provide increased assistance to residents with dementia or in memory care unit
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Caregiver Requirements

Other Caregiver Skills

• Experience as a caregiver preferred but not required
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid and CPR

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

PAY SCALE:

Depending on a number of factors, including, but not limited to location, regularly scheduled work shift, knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise.
