Assisted Living Caregiver

We're hiring compassionate caregivers for a beautiful upscale home in the Northwest Valley, now under new ownership with a strong track record of quality care. Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, incontinence care, and eating.
• Participate in shift change routines, including reviewing shift reports, communication logs, and walking rounds.
• Administer medications according to AZDHS guidelines and Ohana policies (must be medication certified).
• Prepare, serve, and assist with meals following dietary plans and individual needs to support nutrition intake.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement to residents throughout the day.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment including laundry, room tidiness, and shared living spaces.
• Routinely monitor resident rooms, clothing, and hygiene needs; ensure dignity and comfort in all areas of care.
• Maintain accurate daily documentation on resident care, medication administration, behavior, and observations.
• Promptly report any concerns, incidents, or changes in resident condition to the Manager.
• Follow all AZDHS and facility policies regarding infection control, safety, emergency response, and resident rights.
• Attend scheduled training, team meetings, and performance check-ins.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director or Manager.
  
  

Qualifications

• Certified Caregiver License (Arizona Department of Health Services) – Preferred
• CPR and First Aid Certification – Required
• AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card – Required
• AZ Food Handler's Card- Required
• Negative TB test results- Required
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to lift, assist, and transfer residents safely
• Strong communication skills, teamwork mindset, and empathy
• Must maintain professionalism and respect for resident privacy at all times

• $17.00-$19.00 per hour DOE
• 12 hour shifts
• Benefit eligible (Medical, Dental and Vision)
• $500 sign-on bonus distributed after 60 days of employment
