The Assisted Living Caregiver will enhance the quality of life of our residents by providing high quality service, care and job performance in a cheerful, timely manner and by communicating, coordinating, and cooperating with others to attain and carry out the Campus Mission.

JOB SUMMARY: The primary purpose of the Assisted Living Caregiver position is to provide residents with routine care and services.

SPECIAL SKILLS AND JOB DUTIES:

1. Provides care to residents per daily work schedules
2. Assists residents with activities of daily living
3. Identifies and acts on unassigned tasks
4. Participates with activities staff and residents in daily programs as directed
5. Knows and complies with all resident rights
6. Removes, launders, folds and properly returns resident laundry
7. Communicates any changes in condition, behaviors, etc. to nurse
8. Helps to keep common areas clean
9. Responds to resident/family requests in a timely manner
10. Demonstrates high levels of customer service including being friendly, courteous, answering phone when appropriate, greeting tours and guests
11. Effective time management—completing work within shift, clocking in and out on time
12. Teamwork (willing to assist co-workers, i.e. help toilet residents, feed, assist activities, etc.); willingness to work on any unit
13. Attends all mandatory meetings; attends all mandatory trainings and other mandatory meetings
14. Maintains positive attitude and professionalism with residents, families, visitors and co-workers

QUALIFICATIONS for an Assisted Living Caregiver:
