Assistant Wrestling Coaching position at Declo High School, Declo Idaho

Winter 2026-2027school year

The JV Head Wrestling Coach/Varsity Assistant Coach will work closely with the Head Wrestling Coach to support the overall development and success of the wrestling program. Specific duties include:

• Assist the Varsity Head Coach with daily practices, meet preparation, technique development, conditioning and overall program operations.
• Teach and reinforce proper wrestling fundamentals, techniques, sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and character.
• Ensure student-athletes follow all school, district, conference, and IHSAA rules and expectations.

Qualifications: Must have a working knowledge of the game.

If a certified employee is not secured for this position, a non-certificated/community member may be hired.
