Position Summary:
The primary responsibility of this role is to instruct and develop student-athletes in alignment with the university's academic mission. The assistant coach supports the head coach in managing various aspects of the athletic program. This is an entry-level, year-round position with flexible hours averaging approximately 1,655 hours annually (0.80 FTE). Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required. Compensation is modest but includes benefits such as health coverage, retirement, meal plan, and paid time off. The position is classified as exempt under FLSA regulations.
