Lehigh University - Associate Coach, Women's Basketball

Lehigh University, a prestigious institution in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our athletics staff as an Associate Coach for the Women's Basketball team. This is a full-time, exempt staff position that offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the success of our NCAA Division I program.

As an Associate Coach for Women's Basketball, you will work closely with the Head Coach to shape the future of our competitive program. Your responsibilities will include recruitment, player development, and ensuring academic excellence among student-athletes. You will also foster a positive team culture, uphold university values, and promote compliance with NCAA, conference, and institutional regulations.

Position Details:

• Position Number: S89160
• Grade: 8 - 40
• Salary Range: $46,870-$56,250 (subject to change based on experience, skills, and qualifications)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and conducting practices, skill development, and game preparation.
• Support the Head Coach in recruiting efforts, including identification, evaluation, and communication with prospective student-athletes.
• Assist with program operations such as travel, scheduling, and equipment management.
• Represent the women's basketball program professionally on and off campus.
• Contribute to team success through scouting, opponent analysis, and practice planning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; Master's preferred
• 1-3 years of related experience
• NCAA Certification
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Experience as a student-athlete
• Commitment to academic and athlete development
• Ability to collaborate with coaching staff and administrators
• Understanding of NCAA rules and compliance
