Job summary

Palm Beach Tan is seeking motivated individuals for a salon leadership role in Goose Creek, SC. You will support the manager, drive sales, and coach a frontline team to deliver exceptional customer service.

Excellent communication, supervisory experience, and a flexible schedule are valued as you help grow the brand and maintain a high-energy, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in retail/customer service.
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to positively influence others.
• Must be able to stand, bend, and walk for 7+ hours per day.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
• Reliable transportation, flexible availability, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the salon manager with recruiting, selecting, and orienting staff.
• Train, motivate, mentor, and provide feedback to sales staff to achieve goals.
• Schedule and assign employees; follow up on work results.
• Monitor controllable expenses to meet financial objectives.
• Maintain salon cleanliness, stocking, organization, and customer readiness.
• Develop rapport with customers to build loyalty and long-term relationships.
• Create a positive, motivating, team-based environment.
• Investigate and resolve customer concerns promptly.

Assist the salon manager with

• Maintaining salon staff by recruiting, selecting, and orienting employees.
• Achieving sales goals and other performance criteria by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staff; including coaching, counseling, and correcting employees.
• Completing company operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Achieving financial objectives through effective monitoring of controllable expenses such as labor, cost of sales, and expenses.
• Maintaining the stability and reputation of the salon by complying with all legal requirements.
• Managing and assigning tasks appropriately to ensure the salons are clean, adequately stocked, organized, well-kept, and customer ready.
• Establishing rapport with customers building loyalty and long-term relationships
• Creating a positive, motivating, team based environment.
• Investigating and resolving customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Analyzing daily sales and expense information and performing all other financial analyses to maximize sales and net profits.
• Safeguarding and accounting for all money received and being responsible for banking requirements.

Qualifications:
