The role supports salon management, drives sales, and provides excellent customer service while maintaining a friendly, professional workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Proven experience in a retail/customer service environment is required.
• At least one year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods; lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the salon manager with recruiting, selecting, and orienting staff.
• Support training, coaching, and feedback to sales staff to hit goals.
• Schedule and assign employees; monitor work results.
• Help manage controllable expenses like labor and cost of sales.
• Ensure salon operations comply with legal requirements.
• Assign tasks to keep salons clean, stocked, organized, and customer ready.
• Build rapport with customers to foster loyalty and repeat visits.
• Create a positive, motivating team environment.
• Investigate and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize net profits.
• Handle banking duties and safeguard all money received.

Assist the salon manager with:

• Maintaining salon staff by recruiting, selecting, and orienting employees.
• Achieving sales goals and other performance criteria by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staff; including coaching, counseling, and correcting employees.
• Completing company operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Achieving financial objectives through effective monitoring of controllable expenses such as labor, cost of sales, and expenses.
• Maintaining the stability and reputation of the salon by complying with all legal requirements.
• Managing and assigning tasks appropriately to ensure the salons are clean, adequately stocked, organized, well-kept, and customer ready.
• Establishing rapport with customers building loyalty and long-term relationships
• Creating a positive, motivating, team based environment.
• Investigating and resolving customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Analyzing daily sales and expense information and performing all other financial analyses to maximize sales and net profits.
• Safeguarding and accounting for all money received and being responsible for banking requirements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven experience in retail/customer service environment
• One-year supervisory experience
• Ability to positively influence others
• Must be able to stand, bend, and walk for long periods, for 7+ hours per day
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance
• Reliable transportation, flexible availability, including nights and weekends

Compensation: $17 - $20+ per hour (base pay + up to 12% commission + monthly bonus)
