Qualifications

• High School diploma plus 1 year related experience, or trade school/equivalent.
• Ability to obtain medical clearance to wear a half-face respirator.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Own tools as required per trade Specialty.
• Adherence to HII safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Display company values of quality, safety, and respect while fabrication duties.
• Learn and focus skills under senior technical tradespersons toward NAVSEA Welding Certification.
• Execute technical trade duties per blueprints and technical manuals, including repair, installation, maintenance, and modification of structures and systems.
• Perform general or semi-skilled tasks such as supplying materials and tools, cleaning work areas, and operating equipment.
• Support fabrication, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of systems and equipment.
• Apply job skills and company policies to a variety of tasks based on job, contract, and customer requirements.
