Goodwill in Lake Worth Beach, FL is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager to support the Warehouse Manager in directing Salvage team operations, training staff, and ensuring cost-effective handling of donated goods to boost revenue for mission services.

You will supervise daily activities, develop team schedules, manage payroll, maintain safety and organization, and provide world-class service to internal and external customers while upholding Goodwill's values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of two years of management or supervisory experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Willing and able to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class customer service to all internal and external customers.
• Partner with the Store Manager to train, develop, supervise, and evaluate team members.
• Train to master all aspects of the Goodwill donated retail goods process.
• Support the facility with cash handling, inventory control, rotation of donated goods, and loading of trucks.

THE POSITION:

Assists Warehouse Manager with providing direction, job training, supervision, and support for Salvage team members concerning the proper handling of goods, leading to increased revenues for mission services funding. Responsible for all aspects of the efficient and cost-effective operation of the warehouse embracing Goodwill's guiding principles and core values.
