Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and supervisory experience in a correctional environment or relevant military experience.
• Associate degree may substitute for 2 years of overall experience.
• No substitutions for supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily planning and coordination of institutional operations including security, administration and inmate support.
• Direct the supervision of security, custody and control of inmates and counseling as needed.
• Serve as duty warden and act as warden in their absence.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for a Level II institution.
• Prepare reports and staff papers with recommendations for policy or procedures.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and sanitation of facilities.
