Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and twelve years NYC Transit experience, with eight in a supervisory capacity or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies to improve on-time performance and service reliability.
• Oversee responses to operational incidents ensuring safe service restoration for customers and employees.
• Coordinate performance of General Orders, flagging activities, and track/structural maintenance to minimize disruptions.
• Direct development and implementation of training initiatives for OCC personnel.
• Research and oversee advances in rapid transit technology.
• Coordinate recruitment efforts for OCC managers and staff.
• Reports to and acts in place of the Vice President of the Operations Control Center.
• Protect and maintain the integrity of train service for safety and efficiency.
