Job summary

Citi is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Disaster Recovery Testing in Chennai. The ER Data Recovery Testing Coordinator will plan, validate, and execute data recovery tests and tabletop exercises for critical business technology, ensuring COB compliance and timely remediation of issues.

The role requires collaboration with technology teams and senior sponsors, managing multiple projects, and promoting effective risk governance. Working off-hours may be required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years related Financial Services / Banking experience, IT, DR, or similar environments (Finance, Risk, Control background)
• Expert level understanding of database frameworks, OS recovery procedures, structure languages, file structures and systems; experience with database servers and IT security best practices
• 3 years’ experience managing multiple, concurrent projects and staff
• Strong written and verbal communication; excellent organization and presentation skills
• Soft skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for complex dashboard reporting
• CBCP/MBCP certification desired

Responsibilities

• Act as ER team representative providing support and oversight within Data Recovery Program
• Coordinate calendar of activities with ER leadership and central teams to ensure timely policy compliance
• Guide the entire recovery process before, during and after testing life cycle
• Collaborate with senior sponsors to reach consensus on key decisions
• Manage multiple projects and workloads simultaneously
• Help gather information for audits and regulatory reviews
• Advise IT businesses on ER strategy, policy requirements and best practices
• Identify risks and recommend corrective actions or risk exceptions
