Job summary

Tuskegee University is seeking an Assistant Volleyball Coach to support the Head Coach in a highly competitive Division II program, aligned with the university's mission and core values.

You will assist with practices, recruitment, student-athlete development, and travel logistics; monitor academics and eligibility; and serve as a role model for student-athletes while upholding NCAA rules. Evenings, weekends, and travel are required.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of coaching experience at a high school or collegiate level.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Volleyball Coach with practices, training, and competition.
• Assist in recruiting, organizing, motivating, and counseling athletes.
• Assist with letters of intent and official visits.
• Monitor attendance, study hall, grades, and travel.
• Recruit on/off campus and sign players.
• Supervise department staff and students in the program.
• Plan team travel, hotel, meals, and other logistics.
