Essential Functions

• Understand the Riverview Gardens School District and Activities Department mission, vision, and goals.
• Maintain professionalism by acting within the guidelines of Riverview Gardens School District, MSHSAA, and the SNL.
• Organize all aspects of the program, complete administrative duties, maintain facilities/equipment, submit reports, and cooperate with administration.
• Teach fundamentals of the sport while fostering team improvement and growth.
• Promote a K-12 development plan through community outreach, camp and clinic direction, strength training, and conditioning programs, working with middle and elementary school coaches.
• Perform additional duties related to managing a K-12 athletic program.

Qualifications

• Meet MSHSAA Head Coaching Requirements.
• Understand MSHSAA rules for sport and coaching requirements.
• Have considerable coaching and/or playing experience.
• Possess extensive knowledge of sport rules and technical aspects.
• Ability to teach individual and team fundamentals.
• Successfully complete a background check by Human Resources.
