ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Understand the Riverview Gardens School District and Activities Department mission, vision, and goals.
2. Maintain professionalism by acting within the guidelines of Riverview Gardens School District, MSHSAA, and the SNL.
3. Organize all aspects of the program, complete administrative duties, maintain facilities/equipment, submit reports, and cooperate with administration.
4. Teach fundamentals of the sport while fostering team improvement and growth.
5. Promote a K-12 development plan through community outreach, camps, clinics, strength training, and work with middle and elementary school sponsors/coaches.
6. Perform additional duties related to managing a K-12 athletic program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Meet MSHSAA Head Coaching Requirements.
• Understand MSHSAA rules for sport and coaching requirements.
• Have considerable coaching and/or playing experience.
• Possess expansive knowledge of sport rules and technical aspects.
• Ability to teach individual and team fundamentals.
• Successfully complete a background check by Human Resources.
