Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Assistant Visualization Designer in Kansas City, MO to support concept ideation and innovative visualization solutions for marketing and client deliverables.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to produce engaging animations, renderings, presentations and immersive assets for business development and marketing efforts, utilizing 3ds Max, After Effects, Photoshop and V-Ray.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field required.
• Or Associate Degree and 2 years related experience required.
• Or 4 years progressive visualization/design experience required.
• Working knowledge of 3d modeling/animation/rendering, lighting, texturing, compositing, finishing/retouching and AR/VR applications preferred.
• Must be proficient in 3ds Max, Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and V-Ray.
• Ability to work within a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to demonstrate creative conceptualization, problem solving, and attention to detail.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of new technologies, trends and optimizing visualization assets for modeling, rendering, and animation including AR/VR.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing visualization assets including animated videos, interactive/immersive projects, presentations and project deliverables for various marketing and business development channels.
• Assist with 3d, 2d graphic assets and animated sequences using various software packages incorporating modeling, animating cameras, storyboarding, applying materials, creating lighting solutions and editing videos for various marketing efforts.
• Maintain the various designed and developed graphic elements to support presentations and marketing goals.
• All other duties as assigned.
